Founder and CEO of M.A.P. Consulting Services, Inc., Peggy Pacella is a skilled technology expert with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world who, like many business owners, wanted to strike out on her own to provide services on a project basis with the highest level of success.

Peggy established M.A.P. Consulting Services, Inc. in 1997.  M.A.P. specializes in IBM iSeries systems and programming services.  Peggy has extensive management experience and has been hands-on with the IBM iSeries since it was announced as the AS/400 in 1988.  Her company has many cross-industry clients including Distribution, Manufacturing, Insurance, Banking, Logistics, Wine and Spirits.

The company’s major focus is bringing the iSeries applications to the web since many companies value their investment but don’t have the tools to bring them to the internet.  M.A.P. Consulting Services uses the latest IBM tools to leverage their clients’ requirements enabling them to be competitive in the marketplace.

M.A.P.’s emphasis is on providing top-notch Information Technology skills for each client, working closely to establish close professional relationships that she describes as "partnerships." This philosophy has been at the core of the business and is the reason for her success today.

M.A.P. Consulting continues to grow because of Peggy's unwavering commitment to quality and exemplary customer service and the deep community involvement she continues to make.

Community Service—Peggy is President of the Delaware Valley Computer Users Group (DVCUG), located in Pennsylvania.  The DVCUG is one of the largest IBM (iSeries) Users Groups in the United States.

Peggy is active in and former Treasurer of The Network of Women in Computer Technology located in Philadelphia, PA.

Peggy also volunteers for the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) in Philadelphia and is a WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) certification committee member.  Their mission is opening the doors of opportunity for Women’s Business Enterprises.

Experience - Prior to founding M.A.P. Consulting Services, Peggy worked in the Philadelphia area at the following corporations:  Rosenbluth International (Applications Programming Manager); Agusta Aerospace (Information Technology Manager); and Philadelphia Telco Credit Union (Information Technology Manager).

Education—Peggy is a Philadelphia native who graduated from John W. Hallahan High School in the city, and from Peirce College, Philadelphia, with an A.S. degree in Computer Science. Peggy then attended Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, N.J., earning a B.S. degree in Business Management. She also earned a Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University in Villanova, PA.
